Gym Class Heroes Tour 2026

Gym Class Heroes emerged from Geneva, New York, in 1997, initially forming around drummer Matt McGinley and vocalist Travis McCoy. The lineup solidified with guitarist Disashi Lumumba-Kasongo and bassist Eric Roberts, establishing the core quartet that would define their sound. Their music is characterized by a fluid blend of hip-hop cadences, pop melodies, and rock instrumentation. This distinct fusion often features live drums providing a driving, organic rhythm section, electric guitar riffs that span from clean, melodic lines to more distorted textures, and a foundational bass presence that anchors the grooves. McCoy's vocal delivery moves between intricate rap verses and melodic, often anthemic, choruses, creating a dynamic interplay that sets them apart from both traditional rock and hip-hop acts.
